Just 14 months after their debut album ‘Melodien für Momente’ (Melodies for Moments), featuring cover

With eleven songs covering a wide range of genres, The NØ! take stock of the issues that concern
us in these times. The lyrics deal with social media hype and AI (‘Ich mag Ich Nicht’ [I Don't Like
Me]), people with oversized egos and influence (“Supertyp” [Super Guy]), body culture (‘Der Tapezierer’ (The Wallpaperer]), life after death (‘Jenseits vom Leben’), deadly jokes (‘Töten mit Witz’ – a musical tribute to the great Monty Python), turbocommercialisation in sport (‘Fußball, Du bist ein Arsch’) and much more. All this without pointing fingers, but rather in a thoughtful way and with a good dose of humour.
Musically, the band not only draws on ska punk, but also shows that it has mastered styles ranging from bossa nova and roots reggae to the sludge metal song ‘Der Tapezierer’ (The Wallpaperer) – featuring thrash metal legend Rob Gonnela from ASSASSIN as guest vocalist, by the way.
